Married for 24 years, she is the proud mother of two children, one of whom has special needs. Born and raised in Florida, Leffler discovered her love for writing at a young age, ignited by the encouragement of her teachers in sixth grade. She later moved to Colorado, where she completed high school and has called home ever since.

Throughout her life, Leffler has faced a variety of trials, including health struggles, the challenges of raising a special needs child, and personal hardships like overcoming depression, dealing with adultery, and navigating life's storms. Through it all, her unwavering faith in God has been her constant source of strength and guidance.
